Default CAI in the Winter

I really like the WMS intake but am a little concerned about running the WMS or any other CAI in the Winter/heavy rain. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

Well I cant speak for the WMS but I have the C&L and a shaker hood. I drove it in some really hard rain yesteday and was a little worried because it was the 1st time to drive it in the rain, but I got to where I was going and opened the hood to check it out and everything was completly dry.

I know this doesnt help you with the WMS, but since you mentioned "or with any other CAI" I thought I would give my opinion.

Yeah, I was wondering about this too. A CAI is on my list as a first mod, but where I live, the winters get damn cold and we get a lot of rain. I'm afraid of doing something that might hurt the engine (ie, is it possible that freezing temps and a CAI could be too cold???).
