I know lately it seems all the hype has been mainly focused on the new camaro, but has anyone seen the firebird concept?I saw it in Popular Hot Rodding Mag.Being a huge Mustang fan, I must say, this Firebird concept is pretty dang awesome.But just like most concepts, It'll probably be a no-show.

It's a photochop of the camaro that is supposed to come out. However, I really like the retro look of it and will be keen to see how this impact's the pony market if it comes out, along with the Camaro, and Challenger. Plus the Boss should be out around the same time.

 

If the Firebird looks like that when it comes out then it's safe to say I will no longer be posting here

 

That photochop is hideous compared to the "Bandit" styled one that is floating around.

 

Thats true, the bandit one is excellent and what peaked my interest in this. I hope it comes out, competition is good, gives us more options...and helps bring prices down.

 

Those are not GM green-light concepts. Simply a private artists rendering of what one could look like today.

And as somebody else stated. If GM actually made that then my Mustang would no longer be in my posession.

 

It'll be cool if both twins can come back, we need the competition to make Ford not rest on their laurels. We need a Mach 1 and a Boss281(or bigger!). The other guys(GM/Daimler-Chrysler) have bigger more powerful N/A engines.....they'll pass us on by if Ford doesn't use their headstart to their(our) advantage.
