Default Some opinions

I'm looking for some suggestions/opinions on what would be the best quality and yeild the best results for suspention and some other things. First off the car is my daily driver and will see most of its duty there, but I'm a pretty spirted driver and like the occasional street dual and will take it to some track days and strip nights also. It's on 06 GT with the usual mods right now, magnaflow exhaust, Preditor tune, C&L CAI. What I'm looking at next is the Pro5 shifter set up?? Complete Roush suspension? the 1,500 dollar kit on the website. After that's done the Bear big break kit and a 100 wet shot. Does this sound like i'm on the right track? What would you do?

I've heard really good things about the FRPP kit, do some searches on that.

I personally don't like the FRPP Kit.

Why?

You don't need the front sway bar. The stock one is OK. Also, the strut tower brace is nice to look at, but it doesn't really do anything. The S197 chassis is very stiff as-is. You don't need the strut bar.

That leaves the springs, shocks, and rear sway bar. These are all good, but nothing special.

Instead, I would buy the Toicko D-spec shocks, which are better than anything FRPP or Roush offers. They are fully adjustable (very quickly) to suit your needs. Get springs from your choice of Vendor (Roush, Steeda, Eibach, and so on), and pick up just the rear sway bar. This should be better and less expensive than the kits.

I would suggest that new rear lower control arms (LCAs) should be the #1 item on your suspension mods list. Upgrading them will tighten up your handling and greatly reduces wheelhop and traction problems.

Go read this earlier thread for a more detailed discussion of suspension mods for these cars:
