Default click click click click?

I was getting ready to go to school about 15 minutes ago, and I push my clutch in, put my car into netural, turn the ignition and I hear a click click click click.

Is that a dead battery or Starter?

Could be either, but I'd assume low battery first given all the issues posted about that.

Turn on the dome lights - do the lights dim a lot when you do that?

I am at school right now, but the air conditioning came on after I turned the battery one on.

Sounds like a dead or nearly dead battery. Had the same thing happened, my son recharged the battery and haven't had it happen again yet. One thing I did do differently from then on is I turn off the radio rather than let the "Open door-radio off" feature do it. And I turn off the ac before turning off the key. Don't know if that is helping or not but so far no more battery problems.

AC off will help when you start it the next time.

It might just be a dirty terminal. I doubt it is the starter, but you can test as stated above. Turn dome light on. Attempt to start car while watching dome light. If light dims a lot it is your battery or dirty teminals.

No need to turn the AC off. The cut out relay, will cut the AC off prior to the engine turning over.
