Have a problem with my 06 GT!! Please Help!
Hey guys, I bought an 06 Gt a couple of weeks ago as some of you might know and I have a problem. Yesterday it started making this fluttering kinda noise from the rear. When I get to about 35mph and up is when you can hear it. Faster I go, faster the noise is. Anyone have any ideas? I'm just trying to find out so I can tell the dealer if I am the only one with this problem or not. I know it didnt do it up until yesterday and I dont want it to end up being something stupid and then I get stranded on the side of the road because of it. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Shane

Do you have something sticking to your driveshaft perhaps? Either that or on a wheel because it changes sound as you go faster.
A sticker or piece of tape on your driveshaft could do this; you should hear the pitch change as you get faster.
Also, you may have picked up one of those #$#^^$&# plastic grocery sacks and it has gotten wrapped around something.
Hope this helps.

now I feel like an idiot!![&:] I looked like you said, and I found some plastic wrapped around the driveshaft where it goes into the differential. Looks like a plastic seat cover that maybe the dealer had. It was in service yesterday for the brakes squeaking so maybe one blew under there and got stuck. Only problem now is that there is melted plastic all over my exhaust pipe[:@]!!!
Thanks for the help,
Shane
