Default Paint quality

I have bought two new ford cars with the last 6mo and the paint sucks!! well the prep jobs does. i had a 06 focus that had to be repainted, and now the mustang i just bought last week is gonna have to be!! wtf i mean poop any one else had this problem , you better look and make sure! i found them after i waxed it....... IMO dont have your car "cleaned up" before you take it home, tire black all over the place, and nice swirl marks every where !!! in the first ten mins of having the car i had already washed my self lol ok maybe twenty

You are absolutely correct. The factory paint quality sucks.

I agree the paint quality sucks. It chips very easily. I have 2 paint drips and a couple of areas where the paint ran. Also a couple of spots where it looks liked the paint got air bubbles coming through.

It's the one thing I've been most disappointed about on the car.

I don't mind the imperfections, although my car doesn't seem to have any. I am much more concerned about how well the paint holds up over time.

if a car is not even a week old and it has bubbles and dirt in the paint over time the paint will come off, espcially in the effected areas , it shouldnt take that long..... i guess i am sayin if i have brand new car, it needs to be perfect.

you think that Ford has bad paint? look at Mercedes Benz, more orange peel than a real orange! nobody has a good, smooth paint job
