Not to mention its hard to wax a silver car because you cant really see it haze over very well.. so Im trying to find some good colored wax that wont haze white. Dont worry, Ill take care of her soon I wuv her [8D]
Stop making excuses - get the flashlight - we'll wait...

+1 on Turtlewax ICE - no haze required!!! Do the whole car and start polishing where you started...

great stuff...

Only complaint is that it seems to come off with Meguires soap that is supposed to be wax safe... Not completely, but you can tell that the soap is putting a dent in it by feel...

+1 works great on paint of course but I use it on my shaker and the plastic ring around the shaker too. No white residue.

I use the Mr Clean Auto Dry car wash. It works great and you dont need a bucket. I do find that sometimes a few water spots are left so I hand dry after letting the car air dry most of the way to avoid any water spots. As for Wax I use the NXT, its not the cheapest, but its goes on really easy and comes of easy.

In an unrelated note....

GO GATORS,

CRUSH THE VOLS!!!

Ill be road tripping 600 miles north in my 'stang to watch the game

You guys all need to hit Sears and get a 20-30 dollar leaf blower. It makes the job quick and easy, I barely have to do any drying on my black '06 by the time I'm done.

Just my .02 on the drying subject.

Cheers,
J.

yeh but you could get some dirty air sucked into the thing and you just get crap blown on your car . O then you wax it, you got some grit, your buffing and look a bunch of scratches, ehhh, Use a compressor to get the water out of cracks and such, works great

GO GATORS,
Or as one fine, frequently intoxicated fellow Tuba player in the marching band often yelled during practice in reponse to a passing "supporter" yelling "Go Gators"!:

"GAY GOTERS"! - that makes me laugh everytime I think about it and I cannot explain why...
CRUSH THE VOLS!!!

Sort of related - you will need to remove about a billion love-bugs from your car after that drive
