Default My first scratch!! I'm paralyzed....

I knew it was going to happen but I haven't even plated the car yet!!

Pulling into my garage I forgot how much that bumper sticks out under the hood. I hit some metal shelving that shouldn't have been there in the first place...

It's not too bad. I'm posting some pics.

Would you guys get it fixed? How much do you think it would cost, ballpark??

This is true. And I'm gonna drive this car, not just let it sit and be the queen of my garage. So, I know things are going to happen.

At least I didn't get keyed or was a victim of a hit and run... not yet at least...

The other day I was cleaning my car and perfecting every inch when my *** accidently hit the door open causing it to slam into my neighbors rusty fence. It took some paint off the door along the inside and I felt like kicking myself in the nuts.

These things happen...but it's very annoying when you do them to your OWN car.

I had my share of little accidents. I took my car to a body shop and they fixed a couple of small chips and scratches and it only cost me $75.00.

If it bothers you, and it did bother me, take it to a body shop and ask them if they can do anything for you on that.

hammeron,

I assure you the thought of throwing those shelves out and stomping on them did cross my mind...

But, I was the dumbass that put them there cause I was too lazy to move them over a few more inches, I would have had to move a few things.

It took me all of 2 minutes to move some stuff and get them out of the way. I want to kick myself.

If it was about $150 or less I'd probably fix it... $75 would be awesome...

I wonder why they don't include a little bottle of touch up paint w/your new car? I bought a new Mazda in 2002 and a little bottle came w/the manual and stuff.

Dear Timothyrw,

I did the same thing on the garage overhead door side tracks because I did not judge the distance needed to clear the edge of the bumper...

Took it to my paint shop who repainted the front bumper for $250.00...

OUCH!!!!!

It's your garage, didn't you put the shelves there?
