Silverstar bulbs are here

RE: Silverstar bulbs are here
Is there really a huge difference in brightness? Somebody said they had a problem with the plastic lens on front of the headlight melting under too much bulb. I guess this is not the case here, but hey sound cool as hell.

Actually, if you want brighter bulbs what you need are osram silverstars or equivilant. Those are the german version without the blue coating.
The sylvania silverstars are brighter, but then they put the blue tint on them which actually makes driving in the rain worse and blocks light.

9145 is the Sylvania number for the H10s. However, there actually is a difference between 9008s and the H13s. The H13s are designed to be brighter and last longer.
I had Silverstars in my last car, and I loved them. They offered the best visibility of any bulb I tested, and I tried a lot of them. I curently have the Nokya ones in my Mustang (although I have the 9145 Silverstars to go in for my fogs), and I like the way the Nokya's look on the car, but I can't see anything at night, especially when it rains. So I'll be picking up some Silverstars this weekend.
And none of the Silverstars I've owned have had a blue coating on them, and I could see in the rain with absolutely no problem...

For the '05+ GT, the correct Sylvania Silverstar bulbs are the H13ST (headlamps), and 9145ST (foglamps). I replaced all (headlamps and foglamps) earlier today and it's a tremendous improvement over the stock bulbs. AutoZone @ $19.99 ea. Worth every cent!

Autozone also has the H13XV which are supposed to be the brightest. I just put in the 9145's and they seem ok. I'll have to put one in each side and take a pic. It's b*tch to get to the fogs. You have to remove the black radiator cover, then loosen the grill enough to get to the backs.
