Default wax on door molding

I have this white (may be wax build up) specles within the grain on my upper black molding of the doors. I tried a very little bit of soap scum remover to see if i could strip the wax, but it didn't have any effect. Does anyone have an answer?
Thanks

If it is wax, liquid dishwashing detergent should remove it. Put a little on an old toothbrush and scrub the area, wipe off as much as you can with a rag, then rinse with a hose.

I will try the detergent and follow up with the black ice. I hope it works. Thanks!

Meguiar's has products for preserving/cleaning rubber/vinyl parts. My 27 year old BMW, garaged and covered admittedly, still has all rubber trim/seals parts in and out that look brand new.

Could try Griots wax removal if the other methods don't work.

Try a good old fashioned pencil eraser.

Very good at removing wax from rubber & vinyl surfaces.

so your gonna think i'm crazy but peanut butter works awesome, just rub it on (not globs) than wash it off, the stickey-ness pulls it right off, been doing this for years, other car club members told me about it after getting wax on the mouldings on my 2002 impala, nothing could get it off, "mothers back to black" just hid it for a couple days, so than i tryed pb, after laughing about how ***** it was, man was i shocked.
