Finally sharing

Anywho figured I should offer up more for you guys because this forum really helped me make the best decisions for my preferences and I got to thinking maybe sharing my experiences will help some of you as many of your posts helped me.

Thank you and yes I am very happy with all of my mods. Only one thing I am not comfortable with. She is too fast for the brakes
I received my rear upgrade almost over night but have been waiting forever for my fronts.

Yeah I get mixed reviews on those. There were several directions I thought about taking this car, but it's the throw back design of the car that really sold me on it, so in keeping with the spirit of that idea I am working towards a more retro look. Thought about doing the racelines but lots of s197 guys are running those I like to be a little different. That and I dig the neo/retro hallibrand look shelby did on these.
I am currently prepping some body kit parts to complete the look but just like anything the bigger the rush the crappier the job. I'll post some pics then when thats all done too. Hopefully I'll have the brakes on at that time too. That should really change the aesthetic appeal of the wheels too.
After that I have to get going on the rest of the engine bay. Lots of clean up to do in there, dang wires, hoses, cheap plastic, and rough alluminum all over the place. I ought to be busy with that for the next decade. Its taking me since March of 05 to get to this point.

Oh yeah the torque is amazing thats what really makes the twin screw great. I actually had to move my seat forward. When I was in stock form I would heel to toe it but now if you don't have the foot flush and flat on the pedal and mistakenly give her a little too much gas, the torque will throw my foot off of the pedal.
As far as my Butt likeing it I think I am going to have to buy some different seats because 50 mph 90 degree turns can slide you ride out of the stockers

Sweet looking ride. It's nice to see the performance mods being done along with the aesthetics. I like the retro-Halibrand look of the CS wheels - a nice throw-back to the orig Shelby's, IMO.
