Any guys in the 50's 60's or 70's age group?
I just turned the big 5.0 and am happy to have made the jump not only from old street machines but to these new Mustangs. The safety factor is higher and comfort level is tops.My 07GT has some slick geezer gadgets like heated seats. Here is a pic of my last older street machine,a 67'Rambler Rebel 550 w/290 and three on the tree,it took three month to restore it...yeah I miss cruizin' Darth.Poco

The majority of men I see in GT's around here are in their 50's-60's... Seems to be the nicest group of the Mustang drivers. I can't get a damned wave out of anyone else, they're either people my age (16) who wonder why in bloody hell I'm waving at them, or people in their 30's-40's who don't even care that it's another mustang. The older guys always give me a nice nod, wave, or thumbs up.
70 here, my third Mustang..66..01 anfd now an 06GT. Also had two Porsches, two MG's, an Austin Healy, Numerous Fords, Gmc's, Toyotas. Love the 06...but it is tough to get it out of my wife's hands!! She's a youngster at 66.
i'll be 62 in dec. and this is my 5th mustang.raced a few of them and have done some stuff to my 05 gt.best one so far.lots of nice car etc.live in phx. and there are a lot of them here.[sm=americanasmiley.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]
Turned 52 a few months ago and I just bought a 06 GT/Windveil a few weeks ago. First car I ever owned was the 66 Mustang when I was 18, and wish I had never sold it. Didn't get interested in them again till the 05 model came out. Needed a new car and just decided it was time to go back to an old flame... I smile everytime I get in and drive it. It is amazin how young it makes me feel. Have actually started washing my cars again. Biggest problem I have with it is keeping my foot out of it. Took a trip to the Tennessee mountains recently and just couldn't believe how well it handled the mountain roads. What a joy to drive.
I have noticed many Mustang drivers around here (Atlanta area) in their 50's and up..

I’ll be 61 next month and I have had several Stangs over the years but this 06 is the best of the bunch. I am having fun doing mods and plan to continue till I get it the way I want it.

55 in Chicago...
I grew up with the stangs and the shelbys of the 60's...
My daughter (12) thinks that she is going to inherit it...
Ha-Ha, I'll just have to live forever!!!

I'm 56 and feel like 26 again, the difference is I can afford to do some mod's. I have owned a 68 Road runner bought it brand new then a 70 Cuda, also a 83 Mustang GT. Then came the kids and the cars went. Now the kids are on there own and I have my Stang and racing again. Mid- life crisis ? Who cares if your happy.
I'm 63, and like cfr865 I also had a 68 Roadrunner, I have always had Max HP under the hood of all my vehicles. Vettes, MoPars and small block fords...
I Love my 06 and love going thru those gears.........
