Default Noises...from tranny

I took my GT06Auto into the dealer for the whooshing/whine/air noise. I noticed the problem around 5000RPM or whenever I punch it. I also had a new driveshaft put in to fix the 10MPH vibration.

Just got a call from the dealership and they said that it is a known characteristic with the 06GT and there is no fix at this time. I have been told that it is a gear noise (betwwen 2nd and 3rd).

So...after I sign off on the service papers, I'm going to test drive another 06GT auto and find out if that one gives the same noise.

We may have to bitch about this to get anything done. I can see myself taking it back in a couple of days for the same issue and if they deny me - I'm going to ask for another GT.

I noticed you're in San Diego. Hopefully you bought the car from either Mossy Ford (in PB) or Drew Ford in La Mesa.

Kearny Mesa Ford are a bunch of bishes.

Anyone ask the dealer after purchase for a different GT? I hate to bring up "lemon law".

They will probably tell you to go **** in a hat. Unless they fix something 3 times and it still doesn't work I believe only then does the lemon law apply.

So if I take it in 3 times for the same issue and they say every time - there is no fix - I can then say.... I want that one?

Doubtful. When they say there is no fix at this time, they really mean there is nothing to fix.

So...therefore I should get a new car that doesn't have this problem!

You're not understanding. Ford doesn't see it as a problem.

I now understand...no tranny problem. Just really load throttle body sucking. I took another new GT out and same ol noise.
