[sm=dontgetit.gif] What was this comment for? Maybe some of us want to "customize" the look of our hood and would prefer a "performance" type of hood! I know I would! I am going with either the Cervini or the CS6. Don't know yet.

Unfortunately my friend, the two cowl hoods I have seen have not been functional but that is not to say that you couldnt get one that is. I was at car show Sat and came up on GT that had a lot of Roush mods. The hood was fiberglass carbon fiber with a 2 or 2.5" cowl. That hood looked so freakin beefy on that GT it was sickening!!! Granted, I would want a metal hood verses fiberglass (not crazy on the carbon fiber either) and being functional is not a big thing for me (for the modest mods Im planning). I can certainly see your point about functionality but the overall look that cowl hood gave that GT would have made you cream (or not

What about the Shelby CS6 hood? I think that one is functional. Do you know?

I dont, sorry. Im kinda in your shoes, Ive just started researching hoods because, like you, Im wanting to change mine out for something different.

i wouldnt do the cervini hood without alot of other body mods, it is just too extravagant (<<<no idea if that is spelled right). i would go the california dream hood. It is functional and it looks really good even on an otherwise stock car.

I'll take the Cali Dream Hood. Best looking hood there is IMO. And, it's functional.

The cali dream hood is awesome, and so is the Shelby CS6 hood either one.
