dude you stole my idea. I too have been thinking of putting a v-8 symbol in the middle of those two air condition vents.

Did you put a Lens-Flare Effect in Photoshop on those A/C Controls?

The new gear shift lever for the mustang is awesome. I'm getting a new skeleton one any day now but like the 07 one a lot. I seen it the other day at ford and was wondering if it would fit ours; more than likely , yes.

Guys, don't even think of driving without headrests. I was in a '69 Camaro (lowback seats) with a buddy and we got tapped from behind at a stoplight. The car was doing maybe 3 or 4 mph. My neck hurt for a week! It is amazing how easily your neck can be damaged when you're just sitting there all relaxed not expecting anything. Your head snaps back like a rag doll when there are no headrests. I can't imagine getting hit by a car doing 30 or more. Neck injuries frequently cause paralysis and even in low speed accidents can result in pain you will carry with you for life. Plus Mustang interiors just look silly without headrests, it looks like the seats have been decapitated.

Like this too.

Your interior looks sooooooo beautiful like that. Headrest delete is major trick and I wouldn't hesitate to do it if I had someone like you to install for free. I would keep OE leather seats aside however and get a set of cloths for the process (not sure if you did that). With tan int though I guess my only choice for insert would be charcoal. (not so spectacular) You know what though, I wonder if I would encounter an issue at inspection time. HR's are required of the mfg by law just as is the third brake light and much more. (Could be a liability issue if a passenger in the car is injured in a rear end collision; ...maybe I wouldn't do this, you can get sued for walking down the street these days) The inspection though is another reason I'd want the OE's ready to go. I bet you feel a bit 'naked' driving w/o the HR. I do think what you have there is so unique, yes "retro" and so very cool...
(Love my speakerless door panels.)

Nice interior! Where did you get the alumnum overlays, and how do they work, as in install?
