Default Why No Anti-Theft Warning Sticker?

It seems to me that having charged extra for an active anti-theft system, Ford could at least pony up with some sort of prominent warning stickers on the windows (or something) to caution would be thieves to move on.

Has anybody seen any suitable warning stickers available anywhere?

Most alarm systems are not effective anyway, they scare off little kids and amatur robbers, but if someone wants your car they are gonna flat bed it away anyway. Little stickers are not gonna deter them by anymeans. That is why companies like mobile guardian and lo jack do not want you to advertize you have it, because it is more effective if the criminal does not know it is in the car and they cant disarm it.

Anti-theft stickers attract attention, trust me, I know... I wasn't always a good boy

Thanks for sharing the perspective of your past experience. Unfortunately, my car attracts plenty of attention as it is. I thought a warning label might deter a casual thief but the consensus seems to be to the contrary. Appreciate the comments of all who have spoken up.

when I see such a sticker on a car or a sign in front of a house, I immediately assume its a bluff. Of course sometimes it's not, but I know many times it is.

Really I think the best way to get someone messing with your car is one of those with a pager for a key fob. No siren. Big knife and a small gun. Still no takers yet though.[sm=badbadbad.gif]
