My sister in-law had owned American cars a lot, now owns japanese, but rents American cars when she comes to visit. I gave her a ride in my car and her response was "Wow, this is enough to restore my faith in American cars again."

There is a separate recirculation button that can be turned on/off independently. It doesn't matter if the A/C is in normal, max or even off.

The max A/C controls a shut-off valve that prevents coolant flow through the heater core. This takes the residual heat created by the "hot" coolant flow through the heater core out of the equation and gives you "max" cooling. It won't make much difference in normal weather, but in 100+ deg-F. temps it would be noticeable.

On other Ford vehicles the max A/C selector may both activate the shut-off valve and air recirculation.

You know what, just the people on this forum should be testament enough how good they are. I mean is there anyone on this forum that doesn't drive the dog crap out of their car. I mean we spend thousands of dollars on these cars just to eke out 10 or 20 more h.p. I've driven my car harder than all of the cars I've ever owned. This car was done right, it is one great piece of machinery. I wonder how many new cars out there could take the punishment we dish out in the first month of ownership.

i am pretty sure it isnt that in our cars because we have the air circulator button

I've owned and driven nothing but FORDS for over 20 years, and, believe it or not, I've never had any problems. The F150 is the standard for all trucks, the MUSTANG has no competition, the TAURUS was indestructable, and the EXPLORER started the SUV craze.

If someone wants to slam the product over an AC control, well WTF ?

its not a button, its the very left side of the A/C ****

Right, we have the circulator button so that if you want it on 1 you can still have circulation, but if you turn it to max ac, youll notice the circulator light turns on automatically, and you cant have max ac on without the circulator light being on either.
