IMHO, I dont like drawing attention to things that already sort of annoy me. But the factory antenna at least works well unlike some windshield mounted ones so I am leaving it alone.

 

Def a subtle but major improvment. What was ford thinking when they put that 30ft tower mast on the car and tried to play it off as an antenna. I went with the black antenna to keep it stealth though.

 

OK. so not my best mod ever, but what the hell it was $7.00, and it matches the wheels and GT badge. Sure it's stelth, cant really see it coming then woosh!! There goes the amazing antana of doom..........[sm=burnout.gif]

Did you buy it online? Does anyone make one that's thicker, like as thick as the base of the one in your pic?

 

I'm pretty sure your rims and chin spoiler are way better than an antenna.....lol....

But yea I agree....those things suck..I keep my antenna in my trunk, I dont listen to regular radio it's either cd's or sirius satellite radio for me.

I just gotmine because it was laying around the shop. Nobody bought it, so I guess I had to

 

The stock antenna was just too high and makes putting on the car cover a hassle. I got the shorter black one. Black is low profile.
I think the chrome actually DRAWS attention! Not a great idea for something that can be twisted off by any punk with 2 hands!
