Cleaning the Engine bay

Any advice?? Spraying it with a hose does not seem like a good idea.....

Engine bay cleaning fluid + bag over CAI + hose = Clean as new!

I posted the same question a few weeks back and was told to spray "Simple Green" (bought it at Target) on the engine after it had cooled properly. Let it sit for a minute and then rinse off with a hose, no high pressure necessary. Also, as previously posted cover your CAI/airbox and computer with plastic bags. It worked great, no scrubbing or pressure wash needed, dryed the engine bay and then wiped the plastic/rubber parts with armour all wipes.

I use the water that is left in the engine bay and a damp towel to do all the visible parts. About 1 every two months I use the hose on all the steering linkage and lower inner fenders.
