Default **Wilwood Brake Install**>UPDATE< Done !!!!!

Just finishing the install of a complete Wilwood racing brake system on a friends 2006 Roush. I will update the results when it is finished later today. Because this is a full race setup, and not vehicle specific, there were a couple of bumps in the road, but it was not that difficult to deal with. Also installed a complete Roush Stage 2 suspension package at the same time. Stay tuned - His FRPP polished Whipple is next on the install list!!

The Cross drilled and slotted rotor with the willwood looks amazing.
How much for a set of willwoods for our cars?

Did you have to fabricate your own caliper mounting brackets? Those rotors look great! Wow.
I've been very pleased with the six piston Wilwoods I put on my Marauder, and would love to get a set for the Mustang when I get it.

This is a road race setup meant for track chassis cars. It is not specific to the Mustang, so some fabrication has been needed to make it all come together. It is right at 3K for the kit.

It came with brackets, but you have to tear the diff down to the tubes. Pull the axles etc.

Project complete, excellent results!

Other than having to fab some brackets and drill the axles for bigger studs etc., the job was not that difficult. The end results not only look awesome, they will stop a freight train! No pulling or braking issues. Gary, the owner is grinning from ear to ear. Here are some more pics. We are doing the Polished Whipple next week.

Is that a Roush or did he add all the parts cause the rocker panel kinda looks like a different color in a few pics.. althought it could just be bad lighting?

But yeah good job, any reason why you guys chose these over the Baers?

At first I thought it was silver.. never seen a silver Roush before.. but now it looks tungsten

It is a legit Roush stage 1 and it is the tungsten. As for the choice in the kit, he asked me to install it. That was all his decision.
