steeda pedals?
i know roush pedals weren't mentioned but to anyone interested in those pedals i just installed them this week.
though they are great i would have never bought them knowing i had to drill. the main problem i faced wasn't with the gas but rather the clutch and break. the reasoning is due to the fact that the gas is plastic and easy to drill through but the other 2 killed me due to angle and that they were metal. the directions stated to center punch with a hammer to get a flat surface then drill. ya right, try getting a hammer in under your dash, now try to swing it back to get enough power to make a flat surface on a rounded metal pedal. end result the angle totally sucked and it was a bitch. i was more sore doing that job than working out, my back, neck and shoulders along with my knees and thigh muscles were tore up.
much respect for mechanics but in reality i would guess they do that work at roush and steeda with those things out of the car. perhaps i'm wrong but i'm rambling so i'll stop.
i hope this post helps someone decide on which rout to go in regards to modified pedals, i know it would have changed my mind. that said the roush pedals are sick and though i basically bought them for looks they truly are more responsive which i thought was just marketing bs but i was happily totally proven wrong.
