So, are the clear corners legal or not?

Should be as long as they are DOT registered, ie: the lens has the DOT and a registration # on it. well mprobably not in the communist state of California, but if it hasd the dot registration then they should be.

No they are not legal. If you replace a amber lens with a clear lens, you need to install amber bulbs. Had to do that for an inspection sticker on my last car.

Silverstar bulbs solve the amber bulb problem. And to be legal in the eyes of the federal gov you need to have a dot number on it

The new ones from APC have an amber reflector on the side, probably to meet some DOT regulation. I have them, and have not yet had the car inspected. I'd like to think there won't be a problem.

no not legal in any state, law requires a AMBER reflector and red reflector for the rear.

Law started in 69 or 70 I do believe.

Show what is the front or rear at night, called navigation lights, LOL

OK, thanks. I just ordered Silverstar turns for the front. They are blue until they light up, then turn amber. Also, amber 194s. That should be legal.
