There's another option. Have extractors cut into the aluminum hood by a local metalshaper.

Here's a LINK: http://www.metalshapers.org/pros/

i am putting in a strut bar tommorrow so i will take a picture of the underbelly of the hood. Its ram air but not into the air filter. Due to its my daily driver i didnt want to drown my air breather when it rains so i choose just air straight in to cool the motor off. Ill post and send you pics I would say that its a good three inches higher then stock. Here are some different angles of the hood.

It's similar, but that's not the hood. Look closer towards the windsheildand you will notice 2 vents on each side. Perhaps this is custom madeby the owner?

Ah, if the water temps were creepingabove the thermostattempit means your radiator is not adequate for the HP level you are pushing.

If it's a minor difference you can usually fix it by running water wetter or more water and less antifreeze. If not, it's time for a bigger radiator.

yes and no. a bigger radiator will only make it take longer to heat up, but it still will. you have to improve how the heat is removed. it's the same thing with brakes. you can go bigger, but they will still eventually heat up no matter what size they are- so you do ducting. I ave to say I was genuinely amazed how well the thing works lol. I am very much against hood scoops and crap because 99% of them are non-functional, and the ones that are only increase performance a minute amount. This one does it's job, which is why I am okay with paying $800 dolaars for it.
