tinted for safety
some of you guys got it wrong....let me help you.....i used to be a volunteer firefighter and we used to train on extracation drills with old cars.....we used a window punch to break the drivers or passengers door....those windows are tempered glass..which meas that upon impact the glass shatters into tiny pellet like peices....when you use a window punch you are supposed to hit the bottom top left or right corner..if done correctly the whole window explodes into thousands of peices.....all side windows are like this...ALL windsheilds are lamenated(like a built in tint film) to prevent this excact process from happening when a rock or something hits you while your driving....while doing these drills we used a couple of cars with tinted windows....my only point is that is your driver side window has tint and is shattered(like its supposed to) the tint will hold most of the pieces together rather then them flying all over the cabin during an accident....i like the idea of having tinted windows bc of this...and when i get pulled over for it i explain that its a good reason to have tinted windows......just my 0.02
