leftovers from the process of putting your car together... nothing to worry about. If you dont like em, get a wire cutter and snip em off.

You should only have extra parts if your rebuilding your motor, there is always extra parts somewhere, they want the car to weight more, like the drive shaft, or that crazy cadailidic converter, USELESS!

I have them, and I didnt know what they were for so I just left them there. While they dont seem to do anything, they dont seem to hurt anything either, theyre just plastic rings...

Funny you should mention those. I noticed them on my GT engine after it was replaced. At the Mustangs at the Queen Mary show I took a look and almost all the other mustangs had them, including one on the GT500! It looks like they are on the line of some smog equipment. I saw some that were still inside that square thing on the line. I wonder if that's where they were supposed to be?
Just shows the total lack of quality from Ford that something like that would even be present.
