Windveil Blue w/flames
You will probably not see many flamed 05-07 Mustangs. Try looking at a Street Rod/Hot Rod show for color ideas. Personally ghost flames in a silver pearl would look nice with the blue.
I have seen pictures on this forum of a black one with traditional red and yellow flames-looks good.

No pictures here from me either, but I think ghost flames and/or flames with navy blue tips and silver pearl "bodies" might look really cool. Just my $0.02 though...

Ive gotta go with the rest of them and say youre better off with ghost flames.. having a colored base makes your options limited since you dont want the flames to clash with the original.
I almost bought the Windveil Blue, gorgeous color, but went with black. My vote is ghost flames. If someone does a good job for you, it would be killer look. Good luck.[&:]
I've never seen a flame job done on any new Stang...but it sounds like it's going to be a good look. Post pictures if you get it done. I would guess a silver or a tungsten grey would look nice for flames.
Thanks man, and yes I agree "ghost flames" in a lighter shade (silver or blue). While I do have "50's 60's "hot rod" flames, the "true fire" and "ghost" flames are modern day paint schemes so personally I wouldn't do it. (JMO) To look good the ghost flames will be subtle by nature and it's going to be very expensive. If it's a daily driver, forget it; paint repair later will take "artistry" and be trickier than the initial application. I love the windveil blue; if I had one I'd keep it neat/clean with just painted mirrors and CDC Agressive CS. It's such a nice color I personally wouldn't make it look "busy". ...not saying ghost flames would do that; done right it would look awesome (more so closeup, than from more than 50' away) ...you know what I mean.
