Is it just hte pictures or does the face of the unit actually stick out of the console?

The unit sticks out a little. Because of the way it folds out, i couldn't mount it flush with the console.

No, you need to buy the addon GPS unit (which I can't seem to find.)

That's too bad. All of the other units I have seen mount flush. My DDX7015 has a fairly thick face on it and it was no problem to mount flush ( in fact, it might actually sit in the dash a tiny bit ). Hopefully you can play around with the mounting and work that out.

I missed that part. In fact, I just re-read the description and still don't see anywhere the mention of GPS support.

Most add on GPS systems I have seen not only have the factory specific cable for the head unit, but also have audio and video composite lines coming from them. I would suggest that perhaps you can get another brand and hook it up to a video input on the head unit, but I do not see video in as one of the functions either.

It does have Video input in. Can you think of any cheap GPS systems with a video out?
