i went to STS to get some new tires put on....little white kid pulls my car in the bay revving it and a big black mechanic comes in...."sir you know you have an exhaust leak right?" i said how do you know.....he says "you hear how loud your car is?".....i grinned and said that i basically have straight pipes (slp LM1).........hahhahhaha stupid people wouldnt know the sound of a nice V8 if it kicked them in the ***...i love my exhaust

 

There are stupid people in this world for sure... now, did the white kid discover this problem an report it to the big black mechanic, or what??? [:-]

 

no..im guessing he's into cadillacs and he rather invest money into some bling bling rims and a hennesey bottle holder for his 10 kids in the rear......dont people know by now that most mustangs are somewhat loud? i even trained my G/F to hear a 5.0 from blocks away....now she'll point them out before i even hear them

I hate when people generalize other folks without knowing anything about them. I'm black, doesn't necessarily mean I'm into sippin henn smokin blunts and slapping 24"s on a lac. I'm rather offended but he probably thought you did have an exhaust leak out of ignorance. Maybe I can't tell you the difference between the exhaust note of a 5.0 and a mod motor you won't catch me putting 22" lexanis on a stang and then run around like the car is a race car or something. Honestly why does it even matter about what race the mechanics were? The point is that they had no idea what a muscle car sounds like, right?
