Default Need some help

I was driving today in the city and I noticed a problem.
At a red light or a stop sign I would stop completely. But when it was time to go I would shift into first and well drive like normal. Except this time as I was giving gas and releasing the clutch the car basically shook and i could almost feel the gears in the rear grind as if it didnt want to engage, but I would give it a lil more gas and it would be ok. All the other gears are fine with no problem. Its weird because it didnt happen everytime either maybe like 1 outta every 10 times. Almost feels like I forgot how to drive stick!! But I know thats not the case. Do I have a serious problem here???

Take it to the dealer.
+1

could be a number of things - hard to diagnose with that info (or over the internet period)

Could be clutch flywheel - done any big burnouts laltely? That can screw up the surface of the flywheel/clutch such that until it wears down a bit, you get odd vibrations on engagement - that are more noticeable under the load of leaving from a stop.

Could be throttle body/fuel/vacuum leak -various TSBs there - though none that stutter when leving from a stop that I recall

Could be trans - TSB there to on the '05 if I recall regarding synchro's and metal in the fluid...

good luck - I'd get it to the dealer if still under warranty...

hmmm. Same thing is happening to me. It feels like it is coming from the front right wheel. It feels like it is slipping until I give a little more gas...

How long does it take to go to dealer [:@]

It could've been a low idle, and you didn't give it as much gas as previous times. Which gave the shaker effect.
