Default Opinion on chin spoiler

I want to get the cdc classic but dont know if i should pay 35 for the matte black or get it painted for 100+ (talking about the gt one, im getting gt bumpers). What would look better. Im getting white stripes. If I did get it black, would i put them over it or stop before it.

Personally I like it painted with stripes.

This is the aggresive, but gives you an idea of how it looks painted/striped.

the black seems to plasticky just looked at a picture, the painted flow better with the lines of the car

I am a committed member of the "no bling" squad, but painted bling (done right) is always a heck of a lot nicer than cheap unpainted plastic bling.

IMO put the money in performance or luxo-comfort rather than something that adds weight, reduces ground clearance, reduces resale, and likely slows you down, with no upside. The again, it's your ride, your style, and my opinion is meaningless.

If you were keeping those black side stripes I'd say keep it black, and maybe paint the rear wing black.
But if you're going to remove those side stripes (do it yourself with a hair dryer like I did) then by all means paint it body color before laying on the racing stripes. Be sure to show us before and after pics!

+1. I think Orion 240 is right on the money here...

I think unless you are going for the Mach1 or Boss look you should get it painted.

I have been trying to decide between getting the CDC classic with a GT500 spoiler or the CDC aggressive with the Roush spoiler. I think the lines should match front to back because when you eyes are panning from one side of the car to the other, I don't want to go nice, nice, oh crap what happened?
