Default All I can say is...WOW!

I just intalled a JLT CAI, an 87 tune from Brendspeed and a Steeda Tri-ax shifter. I can't even begin to explain the difference in the feeling of the car. Throttle lag is gone, I can spin the tires thru first gear, and the shifter is much easier to ram thru the gears. For anyone who hasn't already performed these mods, I highly recommend them.

Why the JLT and not the C&L? Where did you get the CAI?

Yeah, I heard the JLT is real good, but I'm gonna get the C&L, cuz a lot of people really really love it.

JLT2 here, recieved complete.Run the 87 tune also @ first, currently running the 93. Felt a little stronger on the low end after I switched. Either is a big improvement over stock.

The differences between different CAI product gains is mainly gonna be in the tune.......not the air tube or air box.

I got the JLT CAI and Brenspeed tune as a package from Brenspeed. I had no problems with my JLT. All of the parts were there. Brent said that the CAI all produce roughly the same HP gains, within 2-3. I went with JLT because it was rated a close #2 behind the C & L in that Mustang article, (can't remember the website), and it cost more than a $100 less. I spent the savings, and a little extra, on the Tri Ax shifter. (The new shifter was well worth it).
