Default HID headlights

I've been looking to get some bi-xenon HIDs for my 2005 mustang gt. I was wondering if you have them where did you get them. Also can I just put them into the stock headlight housing with no ill effects? Some people said that they will melt so I just want to make sure about these thing before I spend 400 or so dollars.

Thanks

Here is another one that offers HID with both high and low beam. most are just the low beam.

Actually, this seems to be the best buy so far... and they are both high and low beam!! Thanks surf808

Also, HIDs are cooler and won't melt the lens.

How do you know what temp to go with? Are the different temp bulbs brighter or just different colors?

The temperture only means what color the light will be...if I'm not mistaken. The higher it is...means it will be more blue (I think).

I see that now. HIDWorld.com has actual pictures and they actually get dimmer the higher the temp goes.

Hey ricer, do us all a favor and stick with your regular lights. I am tired of those blue HID things blinding the pi$$ out of me at night.

I hope the damn NSTA outlaws these things!

I thought the problem with the aftermarket HIDs is that it would melt the wiring, etc. not the lens. Not sure, I really want to do this but Im afraid if it frying my wiring.
