i'm wondering how long tubes, o/r hpipe and lms would sound, it would probably sound better with LTs.

but from my experience, LMs on 05s with o/r midpipes dont really sound good at all, i'm going to try to get LTs and see how they sound with my LMs before i sell them
yea, I was planning on either LM's or Borla axle back with a x-midpipe and shorty headers.
Any reason why you picked shortys? And BTW Brenspeed has a clip of the LMs and the Pypes O/R H pipe on his website. I think it sounds bad *** personally.. but I was going with an O/R X because they offer more power than an H. Most likely the Dynatech or Kooks setup.
1 word: Cost

I would look into LT, but the price is way to high for my budget. 1,200 bucks for headers, I'll pass [8D]

Ah yeah, makes sense.. plus if you ever plan on going turbo you wont have to switch them out. Im gonna get long tubes soon and I just hope by the time I can afford a turbo that they have come up with something that allows you to keep your LTs lol.

another point I guess. I don't think I am going to turbo it, I love the whine of S/C and the instant power gain.

If I do go F/I I won't push it past 425 rwhp for safety reasons.[&:]

what headers are $1200? lol

mac long tubes are 450, hookers are 550-700ish (depends which type you get, ceramic coated etc etc)

you must be looking at the full exhaust kits.

ps x pipes only give like 2-5 more hp, its not that much

well its come tiem for a new exhaust, well just mufflers really but before i go out and buy something......

is a catback exhaust really better then an axleback on the 05 mustangs? ive heard both yes and no. ive heard most of the catbacks are the same exact size piping as stock?

i would most likely be going with borla
No. Stock exhaust can handle 600+ HP according to the God of SC KB.
