Default lowering questions

What all would I need if I want to lower my stang?
Just springs...what about shocks...??? if so, what would yall recomend?
What kind of price range would I be looking at for parts and labor?
Last but not least, how much rougher would the ride be??
I put 20's on and I could tell a difference in the ride. If I lower the car, will it get ever rougher?

it will ride rougher... a little but the look is worth it IMO. From what I understand, just springs will do it, and the cost installed is somewhere around $500 - $600 depending on the cost of the alignment.

Thats all I got, just Ford Racing 1.5 all the way around....so far no complaints on the ride and handling....and riding on 20's......shocks would propably make it dang near perfect for me!!!

Did you have yours re-aligned after the springs were installed?

Need to take into account how low you're going to go, how you want your ride to be, and what you're going to use it for. Only doing springs is not always optimal. If you keep it at about 1 to 1.5", your rear end "probably" won't shift much and your allignment "should" be able to be brought to OEM specs.

Go any lower than that and your rear end will more than likely shift towards the drivers side which will call for an adjustable panhard bar. Also, your pinion will get affected, so you would need to go with an adjustable UCA or adjustable LCAs to bring the pinion back to spec. Your allignment will also suffer, but $20 camber bolts should bring you back to OEM specs. If the camber bolts aren't enough, then you'll need to go with camber plates.

Remember that the OEM shocks/struts were engineered for the stock springs height. Yeah, you can run aftermarket springs with OEM shocks/struts, but will you get what you want out of your suspension? That's up to you and what you want out of your car. Do some searches in this and other boards and you will find all the info you need about suspension mods. It's been thouroghly covered...

Could do rears only to remove unsightly gap in rear wheelwell. (I did Eibach ProKit rear only) Have new ProKit fronts available if you don't want to go as low as Sortlines in the front and have a more level look. (Cheap, just let me know)

Here is my exact numbers set up:
Front - wheel 20X8 Tire 245/35ZR20 95W
Rear - wheel 20X10.5 (cant remember offset) Tire 295/30ZR20 101W

There was not alignment done. With the conservative spring, it didnt need it and still doesnt. The car actually handled a bit better after the springs were put in. The car does not pull or vibrate in any way, HOWEVER, if I go any lower, that will certainly change. I went with a fatter tire in the back because that is the look I like and what was cool about that size tire is that it only sticks out just a hair's ***, barely can tell! Im happy with it for now but I eventually want to go a bit lower. I dont know how good this before shot will be because of the angle and the rain

The first pic is with factory wheels and no lower
The second is with new wheels and no lower
The third is with new wheels and springs
