Well, if you go for LTs, you can kiss your Pypes bye bye. What are you using your car for? Biggest difference at the track or on the street? If you're building for the track, get your power under that hood. You already did the CAI, so how about some UDPs? The Longtubes should definitley be on the list for power. How about keeping the power to the ground? Suspension is key. You can start off with some LCAs and see if that does it for you and then build from there. 4:10s are also a must for the track, but you're looking at $500-$600 for parts and labor. They're also fun on the street. But if you do long commutes on highways, the 4:10s may not be optimal for you.

The most power you can gain right now is longtubes...not a cheap mod, but the most hps staying N/A. Hell, you could even spend $600 for a nitrous kit...that will for sure get you the best bang for the buck... :-)

4.10s are really taht much to install?!? is there an easy do it yourself route to them?

i kind of figured if i got long tubes iw ould have to fabricate my hpipe to fit anyways.

i wanted to avoid pulleys because i know one day i'll be doing procharger, maybe.

anything else? i was thinking short shifter.

i want sime bolt on mods basically, that i wont have to spend a fortune on

For gears, you'd have to be very brave to even think about trying to install them on your own. Easy answer, around $600 for gears and install.

Basic bolt-ons are not going to be pocket change, so your going to have to put money into it. The Kooks L/T Headers with Mid-Pipe will run you around 1200-1500 depending where you buy and if you want high-flow cats. Basic LCA's from BMR are around $200 for non-adjustable and you could add their UCA which i've done along with a panhard bar and instant center. Those suspension mods are what you need if you're going to be a track junky and what good times.

Other things, include if you are willing to go the nitrous route you will get much better times at the track if used correctly for around $1000 with all safety items etc etc... I'm going to be going with Stage 3 CompCams and being one of the few going this route but this will overide scrambler's comment of most power gained from longtubes definately not cams are 30-40rwhp since you already have a CAI. Another factor is the tune you would be needing with the Headers & CAI which may be included depending where you purchase.

I hear you there on the CompCams, although not cheap. Something I'm definitely looking into when I get back to the States. No way I'd let someone over here do any work on my car.
