Has anybody done the Mobile 1 fully synthetic oil change yet? I did this today and I can feel an amazing difference. If anybody has done a fully synthetic oil change, can you tell a difference?

Oh and by-the-way, I broke my oil filter tool trying to take the original oil filter off, it was on that tight!

seat of pants feel, they said that it would increase hp and I really didn't pay too much attention to it, but yes, it did make a slight hp difference... it pulls harder now. It runs very well now

I always use Syn Mobile 1 in all my vehicles. That includes my 2000 Turbo - Nitrous injected ZX12 R streetbike. This bike has about 19,000 miles on it and went to Mobile 1 after the 1st 1000 miles, plus Mobile 1 when the Turbo went on at about 9000 miles with 1270 J&E Turbo pistons. Turbo can run really hot in stop & go traffic here in middle Tennessee in the summer. One trip to Gatlinburg and getting caught in that 10 mile long traffic jam that is so common there almost made me pull over & shut down. The temp guage would start flashing, but we would move a few hundred feet & guage would drop so I kept faith that I had about the best oil money can buy in the motor & kept going. That was probably 3000 miles ago & at least 1 oil change, maybe 2 of hard riding without any problem or issue. When the Whipple went on my Roush, there was no doubt for me, Mobile 1 oil change at the same time. Not the cheapest oil, but good insurance IMHO!!!!!

I felt no difference with mobil 1, and i'm sure i'll feel no difference with royal purple. It's not a matter of picking up hp or anything like that. I just want to make sure the car gets the best.

I put Mobile 1 in at 1000-miles following break-in. I too could feel no real difference. Like Menace said, I don't think it is about HP, but about the life of the engine. I guess the next question is how many miles to put on before next change? Probably just depends on driving conditions and all. I'm guessing about 5k miles for me with 80/20 hwy/city...

i've been using mobil 1 since it came out and the difference is better running motor, less strain on the motor and parts.the slight hp gain you would't even notice.its more peace of mind knowing your doing your motor a lot of good.
