What car do you fear at the strip?
Just curious what car do you fear racing at the strip? Is it the vette, SRT4, EVO, STI? I'm currently deployed to Kuwait so I have not been to the drag strip in quite some time but my wife took our cars there to race last weekend (2004 C5 vette and a 1989 GT Musang) and she said that about 5 or 6 mustang owners wanted to race her in the vette. When she offered to race them in the GT they said they didn't want to race the mustang...why do you think that is? when I'm there the only people I can get to race are in a 03-04 cobra or a vette themself.
I hate racing the STI and EVO myself. No matter how good of a launch you get you are always playing catch up.

350z ran 11.50 @ 121mph just line up and race for time.. once you are fast (450+rwhp) that time you can underestimate some cars at track.. if you are gonna race for money or for anything.. make sure to check other car's engine, trunk, etc.. there ton of sleepers with nitrous bottle hidden somewhere in the car!!

LOL, I have a CRX that can beat my Mustang, and many others. Glad to see there is a bit of respect for these cars.

Haha...I have yet to see the CRX in action but when I was stationed in Germany the old VW bugs were the fastest cars at the track. There were many that could go sub 10 sec on the 3600 CC engine.
I forgot to say that my wife was at the track on a day that only stock (or very near stock) cars could run. There could be no internal engine work done to your car if you wanted to run from 1200 PM to 3 PM. I thought it was pretty cool for them to do that. I hate it when I have to line up next to an eight second drag car.lol
