Can someone please help me find the stock wheel weight for my 2005 GT? I have the stock polished GT rims and they have the standard 235 rubber around them. I am trying to get a shipping quote and can't find how much these weigh... please tell me I don't have to weigh them myself !!!

Rim & tire combined weigh about 50lbs a piece.

whoa.. I badly underestimated them at 40 pounds. Are you certain these 17" rim/tire combo (as in my sig below) weighs in at 50 pounds???

does anybody know the weight of the stock 18" wheels on an 06 mustang? 18's on 235s as well

The tirerack listed the pirelli zero M&S 235/55/17 at 28lbs, meaning if 50lbs is correct, the stock machined 17s are 22 lbs which is extemely light, like BBS racing wheel light. Also I contacted Steeda about their pentar 5 stars 18x10 wheel which they replied in the email as 26lbs saying that the stock 17s weighed 30 lbs and the 18s weighed 32+ lbs. Big discrepency there so someone's way off, either steeda is pushing their product by blatently lying or 50lbs is inaccurate.

By the way the stock TA-KDWS 235/50/18 weigh 30 lbs according to tirerack.

So I vote for taking the wheel off and weighing it on the bathroom scale and getting back to us.

I weighed my stock 17 inch bullits with the stock pirellie and it weighed 50lbs.

So if DD Bullits weight 29-30 lbs, and the 255 front and 285 rear weight close to thirty lbs... I'd be picking up 10 lbs at each corner ? Geez, not sure I want to do that... I'm going to have to weigh my stock wheels sometime.

I have some OEM 18" with tires for salethe post office wants $47 per tire. I believe the combo wieghed in at 52 pounds each.
