Okay guys. I finally got word back from the guys at Karr Motorsports Performance Parts.

The GT500 hood will come in two variants - one for the GT bumper and one for the GT500 bumper.
They are also selling the 67 Shelby Hood and the Eleanor Hood.

Prices for the hoods will remain at $469.00 plus shipping.

Looks good, just wish it was a little more visible from the front [&:]. The one with the scoop, thats not functional is it?

 

I really like the GT500 style.. I wish they made it in CF..

I see the auction states they are a Fl based company. Wonder if I could pick it up and save on the $150 shipping.. I'm sure I could find someone with a pickup to drive there.

 

Why don't you yank off your hood and drive over there ?

 

If they had a CF version, I would drive over with no hood in a heartbeat.. For now I'm going to hold off on a hood until I find one in CF that I really like.

 

You can definitely drive over there and avoid the shipping charges. Thats what I plan on doing as soon as I get back.
After they paint the hoods - they will send me some new ones and I will post them here.

Looks like all of them cover the engine.

 

the shelby gt500 style would have functional heat extractors
