Hurst Shifter Rattle

RE: Hurst Shifter Rattle
Make sure your bolts didn't come loose underneath. But i would check the shifter handle before that. Mine started to come loose and began vibrating at different rpm's/gears from those 2 bolts so i tightned the heck out of them and put some blue locktite on also. Hasn't happened since.

Same here. My rattke was because of the 2 bolts on the shifter lever. I tried red loctite, and still came loose. Since the threads come out past on the other side, I just went and got nuts and tightened down that way. Hasn't come loose since.

Jam nut for the shifter ****. There really isn't anything else that can rattle. This ain't rocket science. all the rattle complaints i've read turned out to the the two alen bolts. I tightened mine super tight the first time with no locktite and mines never rattled in 3,000 miles.
