Default Hurst Shifter Rattle

Tried to do a seach on this for a solution. Has anyone found a fix for this or a cause.

Are you talking about that shift lever vibration in third? My buddy on another site has that and has asked around to see if he was the only one......

Make sure your bolts didn't come loose underneath. But i would check the shifter handle before that. Mine started to come loose and began vibrating at different rpm's/gears from those 2 bolts so i tightned the heck out of them and put some blue locktite on also. Hasn't happened since.

Same here. My rattke was because of the 2 bolts on the shifter lever. I tried red loctite, and still came loose. Since the threads come out past on the other side, I just went and got nuts and tightened down that way. Hasn't come loose since.

I will check the two handle bolts. I snaped one of the "U" bracket bolts ticked me off had to get that fixed. Could not believe it I didn't tighten it that much, atlease I thought I didn't

Same thing here. Crawled undr the car to check. Turned out to be the two allen bolts on the handle.

Jam nut for the shifter ****. There really isn't anything else that can rattle. This ain't rocket science. all the rattle complaints i've read turned out to the the two alen bolts. I tightened mine super tight the first time with no locktite and mines never rattled in 3,000 miles.
