Best price on an Aluminum Driveshaft???

RE: Best price on an Aluminum Driveshaft???
Sure, do Spyder's Ranger driveshaft conversion.
$250 for the shaft
$100-125 to have it shortened
$30 for the Cobra flange.
...only drawbacks are that it may be difficult to find the parts and a shop to do the shortening, and the installation is a little more involved than the bolt-in version that Powershouse is selling.
Search the forum for ranger and I'm sure you'll find all the info you need.

email Ford and ask them to produce one. If everyone would contact ford they just might start selling them. They allready sell one for the FRC500 mustang for $289, but of course it has a completely difference engine/tranny.

I think it's worth a shot but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Ford put a very complicated 2-pc driveshaft in the car for SOME reason. I assure you that the OEM shaft is much more expensive to manufacture than a common 1-pc shaft.
