Ok. Makes sense. Thanks to all who replied. But now I have some more questions for you. I have read on a thread in this forum that it is bad to have both FI and a Stroker. Is this true? And if it is not, where can I find a V6 Stroker kit and what twin screw supercharger would you recommend for a V6? And what do you mean by bore? Does that mean making the cylinders a larger diameter?

Well... Im not quite sure that its "bad" to have both FI and be stroked. I think its just that stroking raises your compression ratio and when you go FI you want a lower compression ratio.. but like Ford Guy said there are things you can do to lower the compression ratio again. I could be wrong though...

And yes, boring makes the cylinders larger in diameter, stroking makes the pistons push "deeper" into the cylinder, thus increasing the stroke length.

Superchargers doesn't work well with high compression engines. If you stroke the engine or increase the displacement, it's going to increase the compression. You could in a sense stroke the engine to a small degree, and still throw on a Supercharger, but the more you increase the displacement (larger stroker kit) the less likely you'll have any use for a Supercharger.

It's much easier to just put on a Supercharger, and you'll get more power from this route. Though if you want to stay N/A (Naturally Aspirated) but you want to get the most out of your engine, then this would be the way to go. Strongly recommend waiting until your warranty ends, because once you crack open that block they aren't going to warrant your engine.

Ok. I'm just going to stick to FI. Does anyone know of a twin screw supercharger for a 2007 V6?

there is no scre sc for v6 just centi and roots. if your tracking your car get a centi procharger or vortech or paxton. If your daily driving/some track go xcharger roots type blower

on the Idea I mentioned of using diff pistions and heads to lower compression ratio I'm unsure how much you could lower it and you might not be able to relower it enough after stroking

how ever boring doesn't change the compresion ratio or at lest not as directly and you could bore it out a little just like the cammer 5.0 that ford racing makes
but ya I'm pretty sure if you bore or stroke your warrenty will be void

Molly was a blower.

Suzy was a stroker.

Both are great Mustang accessories.

I have been hearing Stroker and Blower a lot on this forum but I don't know what it means. Can someone please explain to a newb? Thanks.

BTW one thing some racers do if you definitely plan to SC the
Reduce the stroke and increase the bore this allows the engine to rev higher and gives it a lower compression ratio
not many people do this on street cars because increasing the bore will lower MPG and a longer stroke will improve MPG
so a shorter stroke and bigger bore will really lower MPG but it would also let you run more boost on pump gas
and you'll need to have the rotating assembly balanced to achieve the higher RPMs
