I think it brings unwanted attention to something that shouldn't get any. It makes it look like the Mustang has a door frame around the window.

+1 on making it look like it has a frame, but it does look good.. I mean the black isnt that visible anyways, especially on mine since my windows are so dark theyre solid black.

Ive also seen a vista blue one on the forums with the windows that way.

I didn't do it since my car is black, sure thought about it though. Would have to smoothen it first and this could be a bit of project if you ever wanted to go back to stock. (something I always weigh when doing any mods). If I didn't have black and found that the return to stock wasn't bad, yeah I'd do it. (Just me, but I don't like raw plastic showing on the exterior, one reason I'm not crazy about the grill and fogs) Course mirrors are an automatic "smooth and paint".

+1 Raw plastic is gay! I think I might paint mine, i painted plenty of plastic parts on my truck with good results. Anyone know if duplicolor has a blue to match the vista blue?

Man... I wouldn't do that. Get a price from a couple shops (need to do adhesion promoter, primer base and clear.) You sand them smooth, it won't be that expensive to have it done "pro" and it will look factory. If you haven't done the mirrors do that at the same time; overall cost should be reasonable; Duplicolor on that is a big NO NO!!!
