Dude, I also have a 2006GT.. this was my first mod (Flowmaster AT axle-backs, kit# 17410)... awesome sound. I look forward to starting my car every morning now. Turns heads when I driving, while minimizing cabin noise. I read these were developed to minimize resonance.. doesn't drown-out cabin conversations or the Shaker 500 at low volume at all. Great low speed/low rpm rumble.. and when you open it up, man it totally comes alive... 2 thumbs up... it will rock your world. Also, a very easy install.. fit like a glove and easy to center within the exhaust cutouts. Make sure you torque down those clamps (or even better, weld em on).
