Default LuminicsBulbs.com scam

I ordered replacement H13 bulbs from http://www.luminicsbulbs.com on 10/21/06 for $50 with free shipping. Got an email confirmation immediately from LuminicsBulbs@aol.com (first bad sign - AOL email, no email with website domain). Website says same day shipping, so I expected a package to arrive within a few days. Still haven't received it. Called the 877 number, and the direct number that is listed in the confirmation email. They both immediately go to a recording (put on hold), but then it says the mailbox is full and hangs up.

My credit card was charged within a day of purchasing. After searching Google for this website, found out that many people have had similar problems with them (being charged but not receiving product).

Lesson learned: research the company before buying! I usually do this, but the website is professional and was very easy to order. Now I'm kicking myself in the a$$ since I probably just lost $50. I didn't see any threads on here about this - anyone know of problems?

You can get reimbursed by the credit card company. They will credit you back for the amount charged and then charge back the company you ordered it from. The beauty of paying with credit cards!!!

I disputed the charge with my credit card company (Citibank) and will have a temporary credit applied back to my account. Citibank will investigate with the company. I also submitted a complaint to the FTC (https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=).

This is the first time this has happened to me, but I feel better now that I only spent 5 minutes of my time getting this resolved.
