Default Just Claybared my car and I have an important question!

Just finished the claybar... did the WHOLE car..
Took about 4 hrs.. I wanted to do the 3 step wax (Mothers 3 step wax) too BUT the sun will go down soon. I know on the instructions it says to wax it right after....(using Mother's Clay bar)
Here is my question... Is it ok to just park the car in the garage and do the three step wax tommorrow before I go anywhere? or will this void the work that the claybar has done since there is contaminants in all air?

BTW the clay bar made my Black 06 Mustang GT look like a black mirror.. Love it!
I just want to make sure I dont need to stay up tonight and wax it in the garage.. I'll do it if I need to tho!

Thanks for the help.. again!

yeah, you can wait a day just don't get it dirty. You should not wax in the sun anyway.

Was waiting on pics untill I could wash the car.. So after I get the three step wax I will post pics... should be tommorrow evening.. the wax will take a while due to all three steps... Trying to get my car all protected for winter.. I do keep it garaged but with weather like we have in Texas... shiiiaaat.

Don't fret tho.. I'll get those pics up soon as its done unless you want pics of it from the garage now? Its dark and the garage light isnt great but I could try it.
Will be hard to get front pics or really good angles tho... want me to try?

You can wait until tomorrow to do the wax. It won't hurt what you did with the claybar. Just make sure to use some kind of quick detailer to get the dust off the will accumulate over night. You don't want to wax with any dust on the car because you will just cause more swirls or fine scratches on the paint. The claybar is definately worth it!

You guys are amazing! I hardly have the patience to wash the car. Waxing is a real chore.

You deserve to have the best looking cars for all that work!

Washing, polishing, waxing, clay bar'ing, for me are some of the best time I have with my 07 GT "also black" after driving it of course!
The before and after part make you feel good, but I AM pretty old I guess.

Excuse me if I am missing something. Are you talking about claybar as in sraying the car with detail spray and then using the claybar on it? How in the world could that take 4 hrs?
