LSD and Snow
Hey everyone,
I'm planning on getting the T-Loc or True-Trac LSD. I'll have the money to do this over the winter, problem is, my car is my everyday driver. Would changing over to the LSD make my car handle better, the same, or worse in the snow?

Pretty much what I figured, but I had to ask. I learned how to drive by driving in snowstorms, in the driving school's cavalier. Like that handled real well
. Every driving hour I had and every time my father took me out, it seemed to snow. I actually feel more comfortable driving in snow, I don't know why. Do you think that it would be in my best interest to wait until after winter anyway?

The car will get more traction because both wheels will apply power, however there will be a greater tendancy for the rear to go sideways.
Just practice your counter-steering! Put a couple sand bags in the trunk. The weight will help greatly and in a pinch you can throw it on ice.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing... I clicked on it thinking "Wonder what he did in the snow while on LSD?" lol but yes ilduce, it will be better in the snow just dont goose it... and think of how much better it will be when youre not in the snow
If I were you Id do it right as spring came that way you can wear it in and get used to it before trying it on snow..

Yeah, sorry to disappoint! I thought about that, but I figured I'd keep the subject unchanged and see who would be first to jump on it!!!
