New Rendering: 2006 'Pony'
After the success of my 2009 Mach 1 tribute, I felt it only fitting to do a tribute to the 1966 Fastback. The Pony I first fell in love with.

Love the built in 3/4 louvres, still dont like that front bumper.. I like the way ours looks with the corner markers. Cool how you put in that top of the C line again, although doesnt really look like it flows with the body anymore, with the way Ford made the beltline. And definate + with the no spoiler.. maybe bring the rear end panels a little lower, looks a little uneven. Man you do a good job though.. wish I could do that. So how do you do all this anyways?
Now you see........I loved you're Boss/Mach 1/Bullitt concepts, but I feel this one really just looks like a shortened up version of the S197's that are on the streets now. Not trying to be harsh, because you got serious skillz with this photoshop stuff. But I honestly don't think you needed to do this one. It just doesn't deviate enough from the current body. JMO[&:]
Thats what this one was though, a tribute car using stylings from the old cars.. I guess this is how our car would have looked if Pegasus were to have designed.. I think thats basically what hes saying. I like the shortened look.. I think our cars are too long in the rear and not long enough in the front.
Pegasus I would LOVE for you to do a shorter 2 seater/roadster version of an s197 if you have time and want to tackle it! A vert roadster with a hardtop/tonneu cover when retracted would be awesome, along with a lower ride and a cowl/induction type hood.

+1 I think if you stretch the front deck/hood and make the front third of the car a bit longer......it'd be awesome. It would make it closer to the proportions of the 65-69 mustang bodies.
