I was getting a bumper painted and I wanted to get any other things painted that I need. I was thinking of a hood scoop, but im going to get stripes, so what do you guys do with that? do you run the stripes over the hood scoop? do you run them under? Or should I forget the hood scoop? Thanx

 

Why not get a new hood... or is that out of the question? Id say if you want to stick with the stock hood and do a scoop then at least do a shaker...

 

new hoods are like 500 bux and shakers are like 800, thats a little too much. I was thinking the shaker in the future though

 

Hm... well then it depends on what your stripes will look like .. also which scoop did you plan on getting? What stripe setup were you going with, duals/single? Personally I like the look of a single wide one going all the way back with a body colored scoop on top of it.. it does look good. I was going for the 2 12 inch white stripes with center fogs. As far as a hood scoop....either roush or the ford one(probably not, its like 250 bux I think)

 

Honestly.. the single white stripe, maybe 16" with a red scoop and center fogs would look bad as hell... Im thinkin the dual stripes with center fogs wont look right.. JMO though, it may turn out fine.
