They are actually, and that 7 spoke style they have makes them even more like wagon wheels.

Don't wanna start any fires or anything, but

True, though thats usually because its the largest wheel you can fit on a compact car without rubbing.

A wheel thats unusually large would be better classified as "ghetto" than "rice" considering that most ricers have small compact-sized wheels. Youd be surprised at the amount of ricers (at least around here) that upgrade to aftermarket rims, but get them in the same stock size... usually 15s.

Actually, big wheels and low profile tires on a performance car would be considered a "euro" look not "rice". I'm starting to think that most people that use the term "rice" don't even know the meaning.

Rice is go fast looks without the fast. I think we need another term for things that hurt the performance of a fast car for the sake of vanity. Let's call it BEANS

Tacky is the word you're looking for.

But people like attaching racial monikers to whatever respective car brand's country of orgin they're looking at. Tacky mustangs could be called honky's while we're at it.

Ok guys,I'm not an expert on wheels but I saw a 07 Saleen the other day at the dealership that had 20" wheels on the front and rear. It really looked good. They had perilli tires and it filled up the wheel wells. I have 18" on mine and thinking about going to 20's. By the way, they wanted 72,000.00 for this car. It looks good but they must be crazy.
